We are arriving at our hotel around 2PM on a Thursday. Any suggestions on what to do later in the day? We have a park hopper so I'd at least like to get something in early evening. Thanks!

    Hi Cindy!

Thank you for visiting the Moms Panel!

How about starting off your vacation with dining with the characters - if you choose a restaurant at one of the parks, you could spend a couple of hours enjoying the attractions first, and then head for dinner around 6.00-7.00pm.  At Magic Kingdom you could try The Crystal Palace (Pooh and friends), or Cinderella's Royal Table, inside the Castle (Cinderella and other Disney princesses).  At Epcot The Garden Grill restaurant has an interesting style in that it very slowly rotates whilst you are dining (you barely notice the movement) and you will meet Mickey, Pluto, Chip and Dale, or there are more princesses at Akershus Royal Banquet Hall in the Norway Pavilion.  Alternatively a real favourite of my family is Chef Mickey's at Disney's Contemporary Resort where you could meet Mickey, Minnie, Pluto, Goofy and Donald.  You can use the pathway to walk from Magic Kingdom to Disney's Contemporary resort - approximately 10 minutes - or use the monorail, which will take approximately 8 minutes.  Please note that all characters are subject to change.

You can make your dining reservations online, or by calling (407) 939 3463, up to 180 days in advance.

If you have any other questions please come back and ask me - I would be happy to help you plan your magical vacation!
