Hello. I will be arriving at the Grand Floridian Resort on Jan 24th. I will stay for a conference for a few days and then go to the Coronado Resort. What is the best way to get from the GF to the Coronado resort?

Hi, Rick--welcome to planDisney! I'm happy to help with your question--now let's get down to business!

Even during a conference, there is plenty of fun to be had at Walt Disney World Resort.  After spending time indoors at sessions, I'm sure you'll be ready for sunshine and delicious food.  Both of these can be found in abundance at Disney's Grand Floridian Resort & Spa!  Grab a cocktail and head to one of the fabulous resort pools for some rays and relaxation.

The Grand Floridian has some amazing restaurants as well, so round up some of your colleagues and treat yourself to a memorable dinner to unwind after a long day of professional development. My personal favorite is Narcoosee's, which features delicious seafood and perhaps the best views at the resort.

OK, on to our second destination--Disney's Coronado Springs Resort! It's time to ditch the spreadsheets and get ready to enjoy easy access to the Walt Disney World theme parks, a Mayan-themed pool, and one of the best restaurants on property. Toledo evokes 1930s Spain and offers delicious tapas, steak, and seafood to savor.

Rick, if you're hoping to use Walt Disney World transportation for your transfer, you can take a bus from the Grand Floridian to one of the theme parks or Disney Springs, then hop on the bus headed for Coronado Springs. For the most direct route, a rideshare is your best bet. I highly recommend checking out the Disney Minnie Van ride service, which you can access through the Lyft app. These polka-dotted vehicles are driven by Cast Members to transport Guests anywhere they need to go and are a lot of fun!

I hope your conference brings new perspectives and connections, and that you get to enjoy some hard-earned relaxation afterwards. Thanks for bringing your question to planDisney and please don't hesitate to reach out again with any other vacation planning questions!
