We are arriving on the 11th but would go to the park on the 12th, 13th, and 14th. We would like to be able to go to any park so park hopper plus seems right. We also would like the fast pass option. Where do I find out if there are tickets available that d

    Hi Melanie,

Thanks for dropping in to see us at planDisney!

I'm happy to hear you're getting ready to enjoy all the magic at "The Happiest Pace on Earth!" I'm also happy to hear you are thinking ahead to your theme park tickets and your theme park reservations.

I suggest starting with the Theme Park Reservation Availability calendar. The calendar will show you an at-a-glance date view of which theme parks have reservations that are available to select, and this can help you get started with your planning. It's helpful to know that theme park reservations can be made up to 120 days in advance, so you'll want to keep that in mind as you are looking at the calendar.

After checking the Theme Park Reservation Availability calendar, you can use the Theme Park Tickets & Reservations system to purchase new theme park tickets and make theme park reservations. The system combines both steps -- selecting tickets and selecting reservation dates -- into the same set of steps so that planning a visit to the theme parks is easier. You'll be able to select the Park Hopper Option when you select your ticket type.

Because you're selecting a Park Hopper Ticket to visit more than one theme park on the same day, when you reserve your ticket dates to make your theme park reservations, you'll be prompted to select your starting park for each day of your visit based on reservation availability. After you visit the theme park you select as your starting park for a day, you can visit the other theme park after 1 p.m. and hop back and forth between parks based on park capacity.

It's helpful to know that the FastPass service and Disney MaxPass service are being retired, and so you'll want to follow the Disney Parks Blog to stay in the know about when the new Disney Genie service and Disney Genie+ service will be available at the Disneyland Resort. Disney Genie and Disney Genie+ can help you plan your magical day with an easy app. The Disney Genie+ service will be available for purchase and will allow you to use the new Lightning Lane entrances on select attractions to save time in your park day by not waiting in the standard standby line for an attraction.

Melanie, I hope you find this information helpful as you make your plans, and if you have additional questions about tickets you can give a call to the Disneyland Resort Ticket Services team at (714) 781-4636.

Here's wishing you a fun and wonderful visit to the Disneyland Resort, Melanie!

Meet the Panelist: Jerry, Pennsylvania

The playful and creative optimism of all things Disney has enthralled me since I was a kid. I loved watching "The Wonderful World of Disney" on Sunday nights, seeing all the live-action and animated classics in theaters, and — of course — visiting "The Most Magical Place on Earth" for the first time 45 years ago. These days, the big kid in me still loves to play Disney. As a long-time Disney destinations vacationer, I'm looking forward to helping you play Disney starting here at planDisney!
