    We are arriving in 10/2012 to the FWC, we are staying in the cabins. Can I have a gift arrive for my family (to be there in our cabin, when we arrive)the day we arrive, if I check in online?

    Hi Judy!

    What a wonderful, sweet thing to do for them - as if the excitement of a trip to Walt Disney World wasn't enough in itself!

    It is the policy of the Walt Disney World Resorts that nothing can be placed in the rooms until the guests' arrival.  Therefore, the gift cannot be placed in the room before you enter.

    However, if you need to ship the item ahead of time, you can mail it directly to the Resort and have them hold it for you until you check-in.

    May I suggest that you send your family off to "explore the grounds" a little bit while you handle the check-in alone?  If you do check-in online, your check-in process will be expedited, and go much more quickly.  You can get your Room Keys and then slip to your cabin first, deposit the gift, and then go meet up with your family, without them being any the wiser.  Then, when they first enter your cabin, the gift will be there!

    I'm sorry this wasn't exactly what you had hoped for, but I am sure the Cast Members at the Fort Wilderness Resort & Campground will do all they can to assist you upon your arrival!
