    Arriving 10/31-11/6, just got free dining!!!! q?, can i give disney gift cards at check in to use for charging or just a cc, then change to gift cards at check out? Also MNSSHP or Pirate/pals fireworks cruise? which is better

    Hi Angela - Congrats on the free dining!  You can give gift cards at check-in, but with the caveat that the cast members aren't able to give you a refund upon checking out.  So, you should only put down what you know you'll use.  Otherwise, you can use the gift cards to settle your balance, but I recommend doing that the day before check out before your card is charged. 

    You didn't mention the ages of children you are traveling with, so it's difficult to say whether or not you should do the Mickey's Not So Scary Halloween Party or the Pirates and Pals Fireworks Cruise, but I'd probably recommend the party since it's only offered at Halloween and the cruise is available year round.  I love the party - it's loads of fun and will put you in the Halloween spirit!
