    We are arriving on 10/20, our flight gets in at 11:45, staying at AOA. We have a 4:45 reservation at Chef Mickey's. What time should we leave the hotel to head there and what is the fastest route? Thanks!!!

    Hi Lisa!

         You are going to love staying at Disney's Art of Animation Resort! I toured it in November 2012 and it is simply amazing. The quickest way to get to Chef Mickeys at the Contemporary Resort from Art of Animation using Disney Transportation is to take a bus to the Magic Kingdom and then take the Resort Monorail to the Contemporary Resort.  This trip should take between 45 and 60 minutes (maybe less time if you happen to have a bus and a Monorail waiting at each stop) so I would recommend getting in line for the the Disney bus to the Magic Kingdom at Art of Animation about 3:45 pm to 4:00 pm.  If you are pressed for time, then you may be better off taking a taxi. Typically a one way taxi fare for anywhere on Walt Disney World Property is less than $20.00 including tip.  A taxi ride from Art of Animation directly to the Contemporary Resort will take 15 to 20 minutes.
