We are arriving on 5/5/16, our first night we are staying off property at a Hilton and then moving to POR on 5/6/16 for 5 days. I was wondering if we will be able to use our magic bands to use our dining plan the first night.

Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel! Woo Hoo! Your Walt Disney World vacation is just around the corner! You all are going to have an UNFORGETTABLE TIME!

Since you are on the Disney Dining Plan, the first day you are able to use your first dining credits will be the day you check-in to your Disney Resort. That would mean you could not start using your Disney Dining Plan until May 6.

You are REALLY going to enjoy staying at Disney's Port Orleans Resort - Riverside! This Disney Resort is definitely one of my favorite places to stay!
