We're arriving for our first family vacation next week, and the forecast is for rain and thunderstorms the whole week. Will rides be closed, and if so, how do we plan our stay to provide some enjoyment for our kids?

    Hi John, my fellow Ontarian.

The weather can change quickly so don't about the weather just yet.  It might rain only in the afternoon. When we were there in July, it called for thunderstorms everyday and it turned out to be sunny and nice!

Rides will still be open if it is raining.  Your best bet is to tough out the rain with rain ponchos and umbrella's.  You can bring a back pack with a change of clothes and store it in a locker.  We have done Disney a number of times in the rain and it isn't all that bad--if you have the rain poncho.

    Wishing you sunny skies!!
