Hi Katelyn! Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel!
I am SO glad that you get to squeeze in some of the
Epcot International Festival of the Arts before it ends! My husband and I spent a lot of time there on our getaway to the Walt Disney World Resort last month and we had a blast!
There is a TON to do that is included in with your Epcot theme park ticket, no reservations or separate admission required! My favorite part of any Epcot festival are the kiosks set up around World Showcase offering unique food selections. What makes this festival so special is that the food available for purchase is all about the
Culinary Arts and each dish is a work of art! (I think I took more pictures of my food than I did of us!)
For activities, you will find PhotoPass locations around World Showcase where you get to step inside the painting and have your picture taken in iconic settings. There is a giant paint-by-number canvas that is completely complimentary and so much fun! A Cast Member will give you a brush and little container of paint with a number on it and you get to paint up to five squares with that same number, contributing to the community painting that it will make. Then, a Cast Member will give you a postcard with a picture of the completed painting on it as a keepsake as you are exiting the area. How cool is that?!
There are also complimentary seminars that you can attend each day, paid workshops (you can reserve by phone at (407) 939-8687 or visit the Odyssey Festival Showplace when you arrive), and even a complimentary Disney on Broadway Concert Series.
Enjoy your visit to this super fun festival, Katelyn! Please let us know if you have any other questions.
