Hi Susan,
Welcome back to the Disney Parks Moms Panel, and thank you for bringing your question to us. First and foremost, happy birthday to you, and congratulations to your husband on his retirement. I can’t think of a better place to celebrate your magical milestones!
Your question is right up my alley because I adore Disney’s Hollywood Studios at night; the gorgeous neon, breeze from the palm trees, and incredible nighttime entertainment make it such a special place to be. You’re right that typically, there’s some overlap between the showtimes of Fantasmic! and Star Wars: A Galactic Spectacular. I normally recommend that Guests wanting to see both (and you absolutely should see both!) try to spend two evenings in Disney’s Hollywood Studios in order to see both shows fully.
I checked the
Park Hours for March 5, and as of right now, it looks like you’ll be able to see both shows on the same night! I will warn you that the Fantasmic! theater does take a while to empty, so you might want to try to position yourselves in seats closer to the exit. Upon exiting the theater, head right to the Grauman’s Chinese Theater area and try to get a spot as close to center as possible for the best view of the stunning projections in the Galactic Spectacular. I hope it will work out that you’ll have time to see the
Disney Movie Magic show too; it’s so wonderful!
Susan, please be aware that park hours can change without notice, so keep an eye out. You can do that by looking at the Walt Disney World Website, using the My Disney Experience mobile app, or checking the Times Guides available in the parks.
Wishing you a magical vacation and celebration,
Robyn
