We are arriving for our family vacay on November 18th and as a treat I have booked us for the Ferrytale Dessert cruise at WDW, we are staying at POP, from what I have read should we be to the transportation center by 8:30 to be on the safe side?

Hello Cheryl and a warm welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel where it's our pleasure to assist with your families November plans to visit the magic of Walt Disney World Resort.
Oh how fun that you've treated yourselves to what's sure to be a pixie dusted Ferrytale Fireworks: A Sparkling Dessert Cruise in just a few short days time!
My own family and I have been lucky enough to have enjoyed several fireworks cruises together over the yEars and I must say that they've often proved to be one of the nicest highlights of our trips.  Ferrytale Fireworks cruises are timed exactly to coincide with the Magic Kingdom Park fireworks show and in my own experience I would highly recommend both double checking current schedules via this handy Park Hours & Calendars link and then arrange to arrive at the Ticket & Transportation Center in plenty of time as the cruise leaves promptly 50 minutes prior to the scheduled firework performance time.
Wishing you a pixie dusted upcoming stay at the larger than life themed Disney's Pop Century Resort where you should be sure to cozy up and catch a Movie Under the Stars during your visit.
    Have a great Disney day.
