    Hi. Arriving on a family holiday in WDW at the end of May this year. Currently on a package that includes the Quick Dining Plan. Considering upgrading to the Dining Plan - do I have to do this before arriving or can I do it on check-in? Thanks.

    Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel! We are honored to help answer your questions regarding your upcoming Walt Disney World vacation in May!  That is only a few months away!  WOO HOO!

    I wanted to let you know that you will need to upgrade your Quick Service Dining Plan to the Disney Dining Plan prior to your arrival at your Walt Disney World resort. To upgrade your meal plan, all you have to do is call (407) WDW-DINE to make this change. If you know you want to upgrade to the Disney Dining Plan, I recommend making the switch sooner than later. Making the switch would allow you to make your preferred Table Service restaurant reservations right now since you are in your 180-day window of making reservations for your vacation in May.

    I will say my family has used the Quick Service Plan and the Disney Dining Plan on our vacations.  Based on our experience, I would definitely upgrade to the Disney Dining Plan because of the different restaurant choices/food options, the ability to book character meals, and the ease of having a reserved table instead of finding an open table.
