We will be arriving at the end of Feb. 2011. What are the newest things to experience for my pre schooler. He will be four when we are on vacation.

Hi Meagan! I just returned from a great Disney vacation with my four year old grandson so I can speak from experience!

Since things change it is often difficult to recommend specific things so please check on line as the time gets closer to make sure everything is still being offered.

My grandson LOVES the Move It, Shake It, Celebrate It parade in the Magic Kingdom. This takes place about four times a day starting just before noon and ending around 5ish in the evening.  It heads up Main Street and the floats circle around in front of the castle. At one point the characters get off the floats and dance in the street with all of the kids! Be sure and have your camera ready!

One of the biggest highlights this past trip was to venture into Innoventions at EPCOT.  My grandson had a blast with all of the great exhibits and games.  Four is definitely not too young to enjoy and it is a place that many guests pass by because they don't know what is inside.  Try the Piggy Bank game, the Garbage Game, and make sure he participates in the Fire Safety area.  It's a hands on experience where he will learn what to do in case of a fire!

If you have not enjoyed the Rafiki's Planet Watch in the Animal Kingdom park then be sure and head there during your stay.  You will hop on the train next to the great Safari ride to reach this location.  Here you can pet and brush the resident sheep and goats, pet an exotic animal in the hands of the professionals and enjoy some great character meet and greets!

If you have time head to Fort Wilderness campgrounds where you can dine and dance with Mickey and friends at Mickey's Backyard Barbecue. Or stay and enjoy Chip and Dale's Campfire Singalong or enjoy a pony ride!

These are just a few of the great things you can do  with your grandson that might be different! Enjoy your magical vacation!
