We are arriving early be plane, and want to go straight onto the parks prior to cjeck in at 3 pm. We are using Magical Express and online check-in. What should we expect?

    Hi Barbara,

Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel! I can imagine the excitement in your household as you prepare for your visit to the Walt Disney World Resort!

Although check-in does not officially begin until 3:00 p.m., when we have done online check-in, we have often received notification that our room is ready prior to that time. Depending on how early your flight is, you may actually be able to check into your room before going to the parks. If not, you will take Disney's Magical Express to your resort hotel and leave your luggage with a cast member at the bell services desk.

As long as you have your MagicBands and your theme park tickets are linked to your MagicBands, just head to the parks! You will receive notification when your room is ready. My notification comes via text message to my cell phone. One time when we stayed at Disney's Contemporary Resort and left our luggage at the bell services desk, it was waiting for us in our room when we returned. I was simply delighted and very grateful!

If you have made special room location requests, I do suggest that you check the room location when you get that text message. If it is not where you requested, call the resort (there should be a number in the text message notification) to see if they can relocate you. It may mean that you have to wait a few more hours, but it could be possible to get your preferred room location.

Barbara, I am sending pixie dust your way for a magical trip filled with lots of love and laughter.

Magic, memories and Minnie Mouse hugs,
