We will be arriving early at Hollywood Studios to enjoy Rise of the Resistance. We are driving our personal car. How early are the parking lots open? Thanks!

Hi Bryan! Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel!

You have some BIG plans tomorrow! A day at Star Wars: Galaxy's Edge to explore Planet Batuu sounds incredible. You are smart to think ahead about what time you should arrive because there are a lot of Guests that are excited to experience the brand new Star Wars: Rise of the Resistance attraction, just like you!

I spoke with a Cast Member to try to get an official time and was told that the parking lots open approximately one hour prior to theme park opening hours. On a day that Disney's Hollywood Studios opens at 7:00 AM, this would mean that the parking lot opens at 6:00 AM. However, I have seen reports of people arriving at Disney's Hollywood Studios much earlier than that ... as early as 4:00 AM! You could choose to arrive earlier than 6:00 AM, but since the official word is that the parking lots open at 6:00 AM, you may not be able to enter the parking lot any earlier than that. I would at least try to arrive a little before 6:00 AM so if the parking lot doesn't open earlier than that, you can be among the first to enter when it does open.

Enjoy your day at Black Spire Outpost, Bryan! Please let us know if you have any other questions.
