Hi we will be arriving early evening around 7pm will we still be able to use the waterpark on day of arrival as we are staying at music resort - will this be too late ? - does this count for the following day if we are arriving too late

    Hi Lucy,

Welcome to planDisney! I’m so glad you found our little corner of the internet and are trusting us with your important vacation planning questions. Helping guests like you prepare for a Walt Disney World Resort stay is always a highlight of my day.

It sounds like you’re planning a late arrival to Disney’s All-Star Music Resort and are hoping to make a splash at one of the water parks the same evening. While it’s always great to jump into the fun as soon as possible, the water parks do tend to close earlier than the theme parks. Most nights, Disney’s Typhoon Lagoon and Disney’s Blizzard Beach wrap up operations before 7 PM, so with a 7 PM arrival, it's unlikely that you'll have time to enjoy the water park that same evening.

As for whether your complimentary water park admission can be used the next day instead, the current promotion for complimentary water park access is tied to your check-in date and is only valid for that day. If your arrival time means you’re unable to use it, it unfortunately doesn’t roll over to the next day. It’s always a good idea to check with a friendly Cast Member when you arrive, just to be sure.

If you're still hoping to enjoy a water park during your trip, be sure to take a peek at the Special Offers, Deals & Discounts page on the Walt Disney World website. You might find that purchasing a water park ticket, or even a seasonal pass, depending on your length of stay, is more affordable than you expected. But no worries if your arrival night doesn’t include a splash at the water park. There’s something to be said for settling in and soaking up the resort vibes instead.

Personally, I love spending time poolside, and there are some incredible resort pools across the property. My favorites include Stormalong Bay at Disney’s Beach and Yacht Club Resorts, The Big Blue Pool at Disney’s Art of Animation Resort, the Fuentes del Morro Pool at Disney’s Caribbean Beach Resort, and the charming Luna Park Pool at Disney’s BoardWalk Inn. Even if you aren’t staying at one of those spots this time around, All-Star Music has a lively pool atmosphere of its own that’s great for unwinding after travel.

I hope this helps answer your question, Lucy. If you have any more questions, swim back to planDisney, we’re always here to help.
