We will be arriving earlier than check-in. I know that the resort will store our luggage if our room is not ready, but we will be coming from the airport with electronics (computer, etc). Do most resorts have secure areas to store such items?

    Hi Amy,

We love to get to Walt Disney World as early in the day as possible, so we have left our belongings with Bell Services at many of the resorts. My family is a bit addicted to their technology, so we always have various laptops, tablets, and handheld video game systems in our luggage or carry-ons. Bell Services at the resort hotels is secure. They give you a receipt for your luggage and once your room is ready you can either stop by Bell Services to pick your belongings up or head to your room and call for them to be delivered.

My husband is a bit of a worrier when it comes to our computers, so I have started carrying a couple of luggage locks in my carry-on bag. They are easy to slip on before handing our bags over to Bell Services. I have had nothing but great experiences when storing my luggage, but the locks do add a little peace of mind.

Be sure to let me know if you have any other Disney vacation planning questions.
    Wishing you a magical vacation.
