We will be arriving to DW on Sept. 29. 1st time with DDP. If we grab breakfast at the hotel, will they automatically deduct a quick service meal from the plan or can we charge the breakfast to our room. I'd rather use the credit for lunch. Thanks

    Hi Joan!

Thank you for visiting the Moms Panel!

One of the great advantages of using the Disney Dining Plan is that you can work it to suit your family's needs.  When you pay for your meal you will probably be asked if you are using your dining plan, and you can simply say "yes" or "no" to suit you.   On any day during your stay you could pay for all your meals using the Dining Plan, or none at all, if that is what you wish to do.  Just charge to your room, or pay by cash for those meals where you are not using the dining plan.  You will be given a receipt after every meal purchase, and this will list how many credits you have left on your Plan.  If you happen to lose count of how many credits you have used, and have remaining, just ask at your Front Desk and they will give you a print-out to show your balance.

If you have any other questions about the Disney Dining Plan, or any other planning questions, please come back and ask me - I would be happy to help you plan your magical vacation!
