Hi. We are arriving on 2/8 & on the 9th we are doing AK res. at Boma 4:30 & then doing HS w/ extra MH. on the 10th MK 5:30 res at Narcoossee. The 11th & 12th are open. Is this too much on the 9th,we have a 7 yo?

    Hi Apryl,

How exciting that your trip is right around the corner!  I think your itinerary for the 9th sounds great.  Boma is one of my family's favorite buffet-style restaurants, and I'm guessing you won't be disappointed.  The spread is filled with incredibly fresh and creative African-inspired cuisine.  Don't worry, there are plenty of options for everyone ranging from picky to adventurous eaters, including my five-year-old, who currently only eats beige food!  Animal Kingdom Lodge is a magnificent resort, and I recommend arriving a bit early for your reservation to allow your family some time to explore the savannah and stunning lobby.  In addition, Victoria Falls is a fantastic spot to enjoy a pre-dinner cocktail.  To head over to Disney's Hollywood Studios when you are done, simply hop on a bus to the park from Animal Kingdom Lodge.  After a wonderful meal at Boma, walking around the park during extra magic hours sounds like a fabulous idea!  If your son is tired, you could always rent a stroller at Hollywood Studios.  Don't worry, I know he wouldn't be caught "you know what" in one at home, but there are plenty of kids his age whose legs are yelling for mercy riding around in them, especially toward the end of the day.

    Have a magical trip!
