Hi,
Thanks for visiting us at planDisney Jim. December is a wonderful time to visit the
Walt Disney World Resort. There are so many things to do. You certainly will not be able to do it all in one trip. I’ll be happy to help you find a place of worship during your stay.
Walt Disney World, unfortunately does not offer daily catholic mass. In fact, there aren’t any daily services. Typically for Easter and Christmas there are services available at the
Disney's Contemporary Resort. But for the date you are requesting there would not be any services on property. Good news is there are local churches that are built by tourists, for tourists. Saint Mary Queen of the Universe Basilica is a local church not too far from the resort. If you have a car, it is only a few miles away and you should be able to check the website for service times closer to the 13th.
During your visit, if you are looking for something additional centered around your faith, you should look into the Candlelight Processional at
EPCOT. This is the retelling of the story of Jesus Christ by a number of different celebrity narrators throughout the month. They are accompanied by an amazing choir and a 50 piece Orchestra. This is a very popular event during the holidays, and there are Candlelight Processional Dining Packages that will guarantee you a seat for the show. Keep an eye on the
Disney Parks Blog for dates as well as a list of celebrity narrators and dining package packages that will be available.
I hope this information is helpful for your worship time while visiting. If you have any other questions visit us again at planDisney.com.
Have a magical stay,
Jeremy A.
