Hi Ronald,
Thank you for stopping by planDisney with your vacation planning question. I am happy to help you today!
February at the Walt Disney World Resort is such a lovely time to visit! The weather is usually mild, and the crowds are smaller than during the summer months and the holidays. Ronald, you picked a great time for your vacation and it's not just because of the weather! You are correct, starting in 2024 Guests with date-based tickets no longer need to make a
Disney Theme Park Reservation to visit a theme park. All you need is your date-based theme park ticket and a heart full of Magic! The only tickets that require a Disney Theme Park Reservation are student group tickets, sport and convention tickets, Disney Annual Pass, and any other ticket that is not a date-based ticket.
Did you know that as a Guest of Shades of Green, you are eligible for
Early Theme Park Entry to the Disney Parks? Additionally, since Shades of Green is considered a Deluxe Resort hotel, you are also eligible for
Extended Theme Park Hours! Personally, my ideal theme park touring plan is to arrive early to the theme parks for
Early Theme Park Entry, take an afternoon break back at my Resort hotel, and then head back to the theme parks for the
Extended Theme Park Hours.
Ronald, as you continue to make your upcoming vacation plans please come back and ask all your questions here at
