We will be arriving in Disney World this week. We have tickets, do we need to book into the park where we are going to?

    Hiya Ashley! Welcome to planDisney!

Can you believe your Walt Disney World vacation is less than a week away?! I bet you have been looking forward to this for so long, so you must be so excited! How lucky that you'll get to enjoy the incredible EPCOT International Food & Wine Festival during your visit. You are in for such a treat with live entertainment, food, and so much more! But, let's not forget that The World's Most Magical Celebration in honor of Walt Disney World's 50th Anniversary is still in full swing! How fabulous is it to be able to enjoy two incredible events in one trip? I have to admit, I'm more than a little jealous!

Now, on to your question! A theme park ticket and a Theme Park Reservation are required to enter the parks during your stay. Reservations are required for the first park of each day. Then, if you have purchased the Park Hopper Option for your ticket, you can head over to a different park after 2 p.m. So, it is super important to ensure you have your reservations booked before arriving, as some parks get booked up rather quickly.

To make your Park Pass Reservations, click on the “+” in the middle of the app navigation bar and click on “Make a Park Reservation.” From there, click on “Theme park Tickets,” and a separate browser window will open. You can then select the members of your party, the date of your visit, and the park you would like to reserve.

If you plan on park hopping, I always recommend starting your day at one park and then heading to EPCOT in the afternoon to enjoy some food from the festival. For me, no EPCOT evening would be complete without picking up a Croque Glacé from L'Artisan des Glaces. This warm brioche ice cream sandwich is stuffed with your chosen ice cream flavor and sauce and is just to die for! I highly recommend picking one up before you snag a spot to view the incredible nighttime spectacular, Harmonious. What a way to end an evening!

I hope I have been able to help you today! Please feel free to stop by again if you have any other vacation planning questions. We here at planDisney just love helping our fellow Guests make the most of their Walt Disney World Resort vacations!

    Have a magical day!
