    We are going to be arriving at Disney world for our 1st visit December 26 at about 6pm. We are staying at the wilderness lodge. What would be a fun thing to do as soon as we arrive for this long awaited trip. Kids are 5 and 10 Thanks!

    Hello Warren!  Since you are staying at the Wilderness Lodge, I would recommend you make dinner reservations at the Whispering Canyon.  I just checked are there are reservations still available for that night.  Whispering Canyon is a fun and rowdy restaurant and I think it would be a great way to kick off your vacation.

    Later, you can head to the water and watch the Electrical Water Pageant which is scheduled to go by the Wilderness Lodge at 9:35 p.m. (weather permitting).  You'll also be able to see some of the Holiday Wishes that are scheduled to launch at 10:00 p.m.

    Of course, depending on whether or not you have enough tickets (you could always add another day for a few dollars) there is always the option to head over to Magic Kingdom to view the magic first hand.  But I know my kids would be just as happy doing the above and maybe taking the boat over to the Contemporary to ride the monorail.
