Arriving at Disney World 12/17 staying through 12/23 and trying to decide on whether or not MVMCP is worth the extra money..have read the only difference in MVMCP and the nights after it ends leading up to Christmas is the free hot cocoa and cookies. True?

Hello Stephanie.  It looks like our trips are going to overlap this year.  I'm getting so excited and I know you must be too.

I do love Mickey's Very Merry Christmas Party, if I am visiting Walt Disney World in November or Early December it is on my must do list.  However, with your trip being so close to Christmas I wouldn't spend the extra money if I were you.  You will get to enjoy all of the party activities, minus the hot cocoa and cookies, during regular park hours after the last scheduled party.  With the money you'd be saving not purchasing a party ticket, you could have another magical experience at the Wishes Fireworks Dessert Party or even book a backstage tour.

I hope this helps.  If you have any other questions, please feel free to come back and ask.  Happy planning!

Meet the Panelist: Jackie, North Carolina

I love all things Walt Disney World.  In fact, since becoming Annual Passholders, my family of 3 is always hopping in the car for a quick trip to visit with Mickey Mouse!  I've been known to make the 8 hour each way drive to Walt Disney World (in one day!) to indulge in a Mickey Waffle or enjoy a sunny day at Disney's Typhoon Lagoon Water Park.  I may have a small family, but we are always up for some BIG fun at the Walt Disney World Resort.   Learn More About Jackie
