We are arriving at Disney World on July 4th but probably not until the evening. Is there a place to watch the fireworks without going into the Magic Kingdom Park? It is our first Disney World trip so any advice is much appreciated!

Hello Jane! Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel! So glad to see that you have a Walt Disney World Resort vacation planned for this summer! July will be here before you know it! I hope you already have your countdown started!

I really love the question you posted! It is the sign of a good-planner who doesn't want to miss a moment of the magic offered at the Walt Disney World Resort! The short answer to your question is that it all depends upon which resort you choose to book. Many, but not all, of the Disney Resort Hotels offer views of the nightly Disney Parks fireworks shows. I am happy to share that Disney's Grand Floridian Resort and Spa, Disney's Contemporary Resort, and Disney's Polynesian Village Resort all offer various viewing spots of Magic Kingdom Park's nightly fireworks show entitled Happily Ever After. You can also choose to board the Monorail for a free ride around the Magic Kingdom Resort loop during the fireworks show. You do not have to be staying at one of the resorts to ride the Monorail. Seeing the fireworks upon arrival is a truly magical way to kickoff your vacation!

If you happen to know which resort you are booking, you are welcome to check back with our Disney Parks Moms Panel for a more specific answer. You are also welcome to call your resort and inquire if they offer views of any of the nightly fireworks shows.
