    Hello Maria Sonsoles!

Welcome to planDisney! My friend, you must be excited to visit Walt Disney World Resort. Over the last few years so much has changed and I'm glad you are here to get the latest updates.

If you purchased a standard 4-day ticket which required you to select a date range you do not need to make any theme park reservations. What that means is that you may have a date range during which you can use your 4-day ticket. You have the flexibility to change it up last minute without worrying about theme park reservations and can go to any of the four main theme parks any day you like within that date range. Now, I do have to say that if you purchased a special ticket such as a Student group ticket, convention or sports ticket, or Disney Military Salute Ticket (for US military members), then you will have to make theme park reservations. Most likely, based on the fact that you probably purchased your ticket through the EU Walt Disney World site the standard theme park ticket is what you have.  Just in case, you can try clicking here to make theme park reservations and you will most likely find you do not need to. If you are reading this while already in the United States then click on this link to check if you need to make theme park reservations.

I think it's a great strategy to visit Magic Kingdom Park first. My family has come to realize after many visits that a truly magical trip must start with a walk down Main Street, U.S.A. towards Cinderella Castle. If you haven't considered it already I wanted to recommend purchasing Disney Genie+. It is a service that you purchase through the My Disney Experience Mobile App. This app may or may not be available till you arrive in the United States but it is a very important tool you will need for your trip. With Disney Genie+ you can start making reservations to board the Lightning Lane of an attraction. These Lightning Lanes move a little faster than the regular standby queue and can make for a very efficient Park Day. I especially love using Disney Genie+ at Magic Kingdom Park which has so many eligible attractions. If you choose to purchase this, know you can start making reservations at  7 am and throughout the day. The app will show under your "Tip Board" the next time you can book another reservation. I always set an alarm and take a glance when waiting in the queue to make sure I am on top of making my Disney Genie+ reservations. My goal is to book at least 6 in a day but if you can get 3 you are doing great.

I hope that I helped and if you have any more questions please feel free to let me know!

    Happy Planning!
