We will be arriving at Disney world at about 9:30 or 10 am. Can we check in early?

    Welcome to planDisney Karyn!

I love an early arrival to Walt Disney World. It is a whole extra day of magic added to your vacation!

While check-in time is not until 3:00pm, you are certainly welcome to arrive early. Each resort has a convenient luggage room where you can drop off your belongings then head out to the fun! When your room is ready, you can stop by for your luggage and head to your beautiful resort room.

Before leaving home, complete your Online Check-in. Include your arrival time. Sometimes a little pixie dust gets sprinkled, and your room is ready early! But if not, your luggage is safe and secure until you can enter your room. During your Online Check-in, you will enter your phone number so you can get a "room ready" text. If you do not get a text or email by around 3:00pm, stop by the front desk to check on the status.

Once you have your room assignment, you can go straight to your room with either the "Unlock Door" feature on the My Disney Experience app or using a linked MagicBand. If you prefer, stop by the front desk for a traditional room keycard.

While at your wonderful Walt Disney Resort hotel, take advantage of the convenient transportation options. With buses, monorails, boats, and the Disney Skyliner, you will be zipping around property! If you have any questions about how to reach a specific destination, Cast Members are always happy to point you in the right direction.

Wishing you all the best for a magical vacation!

Meet the Panelist: Cathy, Ohio

Hi, I'm Cathy from Cleveland. I love to travel, especially in the winter to escape the snow and cold of Ohio! My husband and 2 kids share my enthusiasm for travel, so we enjoy our adventures together whether it is hiking at a National Park, sailing on a Disney Cruise Ship, or going to Walt Disney World which is our home away from home. My husband proposed to me in front of Cinderella Castle and we have not stopped visiting ever since! It's a blast helping guests here at planDisney!
