Hi! We will be arriving Disney World around 7 AM July 16. Not sure what to do since the room is not available until 4 pm. This is our first Disney World trip with my 7 year old boy. We're staying at the Grand Floridian. Thank you.

    Hi Mariemil!!!

Congratulations on your first Walt Disney World Vacation with your seven year old!!!  You have selected a wonderful resort in Disney's Grand Floridian Resort and Spa!!!

I would encourage you to go ahead and check in upon your arrival to the Grand Floridian Resort.  You can go ahead and check in even though your room most probably won't be ready.  Upon check in, you will receive your Key to the World Cards.  Your Key to the World Cards will be your room key, tickets (if you purchased a Walt Disney World Vacation Package), and your Disney Dining Plan credits (if you purchased the Disney Dining Plan.)  From there, Bell Services can take your luggage and hold it for you while you and your family start enjoying the theme parks!  Once your room is ready you can opt to receive either a phone call or text message giving your room number.  Once you receive your notification that your room is ready, you can head back to the Grand Floridian Resort and go straight to your room.  Once in your room, simply call Bell Services and they will bring your luggage straight to your room!!   It is all so convenient and relaxing, just as a Walt Disney World Vacation should be!!

Please let me know if you have any other questions!!

    Have a magical vacation!

    Scott
