Hello we will be arriving for our Disney vacation at the end of this month and was wondering does a Disney allow coolers in the park ?

    Hi Susan,

Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel, and thank you for your question. How very exciting that your Walt Disney World Vacation is coming up THIS MONTH! I hope that you’re enjoying your countdown and doing lots of Disney dreaming as you prepare for your time in The Most Magical Place on Earth.

According to Walt Disney World’s Park Rules, you are permitted to bring a cooler into the theme parks, as long as it’s no larger than 24 inches long, 18 inches high, and 15 inches wide. Susan, my family usually brings an insulated lunch tote with us, where we keep snacks like cheese sticks, yogurt tubes, and fruit and veggies for our Mouseketeers. It’s so nice to be able to grab a snack on the go, and it keeps all of us from getting “hangry” and magically transforming into a villain!

Susan, be sure to take a quick look at those Park Rules to be sure you don’t accidentally pack something you’re not supposed to bring, like glass containers. Also, keep in mind that you will be transporting the cooler, so think about what’s easy to carry or would fit into a locker. A small cooler that easily fits into a backpack or stashes under the stroller is perfect, in my opinion.

Susan, have the best time on your Autumn visit to Walt Disney World! Happy packing, happy snacking, and please come back and see us if you have any questions as you do that Disney dreaming.

    Wishing you a magical vacation,
    Robyn
