We are arriving at Disney for the 1st time on Sunday, May 23 around 4 PM. I have purchased a 5 day park hopper option. When will those tickets start? Do they start on Sunday afternoon when we arrive? Or can I wait and start them on Monday?

Hello Tracy!  Your 5 day hopper will start when you want them to!  If you decide to go into the park on Sunday (even though it will be late in the day), that will count as one day.  If you wait until Monday, that will be day one. You can choose any 5 days during your vacation to use your park hopper.

I'm not sure if you are aware, Tracy, but the way the pricing is structured for Disney tickets is the more you play the less you pay (per day).  You may want to price getting an extra day added to your ticket.  I just checked online and the difference is $3 per ticket!  The cost maybe slightly different based on your home state but it's definitely something to consider.  By having the 6th day, you could go into a park after you check-in and immediately begin your fun and not worry about running out of days towards the end of your vacation.

I hope your first vacation to Disney is super magical!  Diane
