Hi Donna!
Welcome to planDisney! It's great to have you stop by! Only a few more sleeps until you arrive for your Walt Disney World vacation! I'm excited to hear you'll be staying at
Disney's All-Star Sports Resort during your visit! This resort is themed to perfection and is a blast to walk around and see the larger-than-life décor that encompasses the resort!
Donna, there are plenty of things you can do on your arrival day that will be just as magical as visiting the theme parks. Since you'll be arriving later in the day, your resort room will be ready upon arrival. You can head there to drop off your luggage and then head over to the
End Zone Food Court to grab a bite to eat. Afterward, you can stop by the Game Point Arcade or the Surfboard Bay Pool for some resort recreation fun! There may also be a Disney movie playing outdoors by the pool if you want to watch under the stars. With a park day to wake up to in the morning, a relaxing night may be in order.
If you want to venture out, take a bus from the resort to the Magic Kingdom. From here, hop on the resort monorail over to Disney's Polynesian Village Resort. You can grab a DOLE Whip from
Pineapple Lanai and head over to the beachfront to watch Disney Enchantment over Seven Seas Lagoon. The music from the nighttime spectacular is piped in and you can start your trip off with a wonderful Disney experience.
You can also take a bus to Disney's Hollywood Studios and hop on the
Disney Skyliner from there to take over to
Disney's Boardwalk area. There is typically some nightly entertainment and fun games to play. You can also stop by the neighboring Disney Resorts Hotels to explore each of them. Instead of traveling back the way you came, you can travel in style using the Minnie Van Service. To order one, download the Lyft app to your mobile device and follow the prompts to use this service!
Donna, I hope you have a wonderful arrival day and a magical vacation!
See ya real soon!
Greg
