We are arriving at Disney on October 8th. The 3rd guest was added to the reservation last week. A magic band was ordered for her online, but on my Disney Experience it appears that she has a access card not a magic band. Is this due to timing?

    Hi Wanda,

Welcome back to the Disney Parks Moms Panel and thank you for asking us another great question!

It’s funny, I just added another guest to our upcoming Walt Disney World Resort hotel reservation with even less time between our arrival date and this addition. As you know, because we’re Canadians we automatically have to pick up our MagicBands at check-in as they can’t be shipped to us in Canada. If she’s been added, then she should have a MagicBand waiting for her when you check in.

The best way to check would be to actually go into the “My MagicBands and Cards” section of your My Disney Experience account. Then, go to the “MagicBand Order” that corresponds to your upcoming visit. You should be able to customize your additional Guest’s MagicBand, which would mean that she will have one waiting for her at check-in. If she doesn’t appear there, make sure that you’ve linked her to this Resort reservation in the “My Reservations and Tickets” section of My Disney Experience. If that still doesn’t work, then I would recommend calling Walt Disney World Resort as soon as possible in order to correct the situation.

Have fun making magical and unforgettable memories at Walt Disney World Resort next week!

    Have a Magical Day,

    Lynne
