We are arriving at Disney in Oct. 09. I am able to make our dining reservations on July 19th. Do you have any suggestions on how to get a reservation at the Le Cellier restaurant? Also, how hard is it to make reservations at most restaurants?

    Hi Christy,

I wish I knew some special trick to help you get Le Cellier reservations, but there isn't one.  I was able to go there for the first time during our last trip.  Once I walked in, it all made sense.  The dinner room is extremely small.  I think it must be one of the smallest in WDW.  The food is excellent, but there are not a lot of tables.

Overall reservations are pretty much mandatory at most of the restaurants.  I would recommend calling or going online as soon as possible to get what you want.

If you find yourself without reservations for a particular day, or your plans change once your in WDW, you do have a few options.  First try to eat either real early or real late.  Go to the podium of the restaurant your would like to eat at and ask if they have any walk-in spots available.  Some of the very popular places, like Le Cellier, may just say no.  Other restaurants will let you wait until a reservation opens up.  It can be frustrating because as soon as tables become available, anyone with reservations gets it before you even if you have been waiting longer than them.  You have to hope that more tables become available than families waiting with reservations.

You can also try calling (407)WDW-DINE and telling them your in a particular park and will eat anywhere and any time.  The operators can usually get you something.
