I am arriving at Disney on November 20, 2019 and my parents arrive on November 22, 2019. Is there any way we can do our fastpasses together when my fastpass window opens or do I have to wait till their open date to make fastpasses together?

    Hi Allan!

I'm so happy to hear that you are getting ready for a Walt Disney World Resort vacation with your parents! My parents often come with us when we visit Mickey and it's the perfect vacation destination for our family because there's something for everyone to enjoy. You will definitely want to purchase Memory Maker for your trip so you can capture and save all of the incredible memories you make together!

The FastPass+ System is going to help you make the most of your time in the theme parks. It sounds like you will be staying at one of the Disney Resort hotels and as a Disney Resort hotel Guest, you will be able to make FastPass+ reservations for your entire trip 60 days in advance of your check-in date. If your parents are checking in two days after you, that means that their FastPass+ reservation window will open after yours and unfortunately, there's no way to make your parents reservation 60 days in advance of your check-in date if they are not Guests on your hotel reservation. However, you will still be able to make plans with your parents so you can enjoy your vacation together!

I recommend that you start by making FastPass+ reservations for all Guests on your hotel reservation when your FastPass+ reservation window opens 60 days in advance of your check-in date. Then, when your parent's reservation window opens 60 days in advance of their check-in date, you can attempt to copy your reservations to their account by selecting your reservation in My Disney Experience and selecting "Add Guests". If for some reason there is no additional availability to make your parents' reservations, then you can reschedule your entire group's reservations to a time when everyone can enjoy the activities on your "must-do" list.

In my experience, I have found that I have the best luck making FastPass+ reservations if I make them right when my reservation window opens and if I make popular experiences towards the end of my trip. So if you can't find any FastPass+ reservations for Avatar Flight of Passage or Slinky Dog Dash at the beginning of your vacation, then you may have better luck if you look for reservations for these popular attractions toward the end of your trip.

Let us know if we can help you again as you continue planning! T-T-F-N, ta ta for now!
