    We will be arriving at Disney in 8 days. We have 5 people that will be eating at out ADRs and then my son who is 1 that will just share off my plate. My question is will we be considered a party of 6 and have to pay the 18% gratuity?

    Hi Tiffany,

    Because your son occupies a sixth seat at your table, your party will likely be considered a group of six, not five.  However, if you feel that the service you receive at any Disney restaurant does not merit an 18% gratuity, you are always welcome to speak to a manager to have the gratuity removed.  I'd be surprised, however, if that were the case.  An 18% gratuity is fairly standard for the level of service Cast Members provide at Walt Disney World restaurants no matter what size the party.  I am hopeful that the Cast Members you encounter will meet your every expectation.
