We will be arriving to the Disney area around lunch after returning from our Disney cruise - what would you suggest doing for the rest of the day? Any parks to visit in that short time?

    Hi Melody!

I am so excited for you that you are going on a Disney Cruise!  My personal recommendation to you is not use up a Park Ticket for only half a day.  There are plenty of things to do in Walt Disney World with using up a Park Ticket!  Here are some of my favorite things to do in Walt Disney World without even entering a Park.  Go to Downtown Disney where you can spend more than half a day shopping, eating at fabulous, world class restaurants, and taking in the sights and sounds of this Disney Marketplace.  You can also watch a movie and bowl at the new Splitsville in Downtown Disney.   You could play a round or two of Miniature Golf at either Winter Summerland Miniature Golf (near Blizzard Beach Water Park) or Fantasia Gardens and Fairways Miniature Golf (near the Swan and Dolphin Resorts).  My all time favorite is is go around to explore and tour the Resorts in Walt Disney World!  Looking at the amazing lobbies of the Resorts is so much fun, especially the Monorail Deluxe Resorts (the Grand Floridian Resort and Spa, the Polynesian Resort, and the Contemporary Resort).  Don't miss Wilderness Lodge Resort and Animal Kingdom Lodge too.  I have given you a few things to do in Walt Disney World without a park ticket and there are so many more to discover.

I hope that your Disney Cruise and time in Walt Disney World after your Cruise is truly magical in every way!

    Keep Dreaming Big!
