Hello, Jean, and welcome to
planDisney! I'm so glad you've stopped by with your planning questions. Let's get you all set for a magical Walt Disney World vacation!
Jean, as soon as you purchase your
Walt Disney World Theme Park tickets you can start making your park pass reservations. To do this, you'll link your tickets to your
MyDisneyExperience account. Then, you'll visit the park pass reservation website. From there, you'll select the people that you'd like to make a
park pass reservation for, the date on a calendar and the theme park you'd like to visit. If all goes well, you'll be taken to a confirmation page and have the option to make a selection for another day. You'll do this for each day you'd like to visit the Walt Disney World Theme Parks. Keep in mind, Jean, that even if you have a park hopper ticket (that lets you enter multiple Walt Disney World Theme Parks in one day) you'll still need to make park pass reservations for the initial theme park you'd like to visit each day. Walt Disney World is still operating at a limited capacity and this is the way to guarantee you a spot at the theme park of your choosing.
You are able to make
advanced dining reservations 60 days prior to your check-in date. If you are staying at a Walt Disney World Resort Hotel, you can make them 60 days in advance for the length of your stay up to 10 days. This is super important because some of the best restaurants do fill up really quickly. You can make reservations online starting at 6:00 a.m. Mickey Mouse's time or over the phone by calling 407-WDW-DINE starting at 7:00 a.m. To find out which day you can make dining reservations, I like to put in the search bar on the internet something like, "60 days prior to September 26, 2022". This will bring up the date on which you can start making those reservations. If you are not staying at a Walt Disney World Resort Hotel, you can still make your dining reservations 60 days in advance but only day by day. You would need to call back or book online each day when it opens up for availability.
I hope this helps get the ball rolling on your upcoming Walt Disney World vacation, Jean. If you have any other questions, please feel free to stop back by and
ask me. I'm happy to help!
Happy planning!
Jackie H.
