    Hi, we are arriving in Dec.to WDW to celebrate our 48th wedding anniversary. We are staying at the Caribbean Beach Resort. We have called the resort a couple of times to find out if the room has a microwave or if one can brought to the room, no one knows.

    Welcome back to the Disney Parks Moms Panel, and thank you for your question. First and foremost, a warm congratulations on 48 pixie-dusted yEARS of marriage. I can’t think of a better place to celebrate a lifetime of love.

    Larry, there are not microwaves in the room at Disney’s Caribbean Beach Resort. While there are a limited number that may be available upon request, typically these are reserved for Guests who may have medical needs. While requests cannot be guaranteed, the easiest way to request a microwave is by calling (407) 939-1936 and asking to add the request to your reservation. If you haven’t already, make sure you mention that you will be celebrating your anniversary on your vacation; the Cast Member will add a note to your reservation, and you may find you get magical greetings and wishes throughout your stay. 

    There are Island Markets located around Disney’s Caribbean Beach Resort, and each market has a microwave available for Guests to use. When you check in, ask the Cast Member at the front desk about microwave availability and locations, as things may have changed by the time you arrive.
