Hi, Laura! Welcome to planDisney!
In my opinion, one of the best parts of planning a
Walt Disney World Resort vacation is deciding where I want to dine during my visit. There are so many delicious
restaurants throughout the Walt Disney World theme parks, resort hotels, and
Disney Springs that it's sometimes difficult to narrow down our choices. Between casual eateries, upscale signature dining, restaurants with imaginative theming, and character meals, there really is something to appeal to every Guest!
Walt Disney World Resort's
dining reservations open 60 days in advance. As a Guest staying at a
Disney Resorts Collection Hotel, you will be able to make your dining reservations for your entire stay (up to 10 days) 60 days before your resort hotel check-in date. If I'm trying for any hard-to-find dining reservations, I like to plan those toward the end of my stay to get a bit of a head start on booking my reservations.
You're going to want to make reservations for any table service restaurants that you're planning to visit, and I recommend making them 60 days before your arrival. At times, you might be able to find same-day restaurant availability using the
mobile walk-up list feature in your
My Disney Experience mobile app. However, especially during the busy holiday season, it's always best to make an advanced dining reservation if possible.
Character dining experiences are very popular and tend to book quickly. Some of the most popular character dining experiences are
Cinderella's Royal Table and Breakfast à la Art with Mickey & Friends at
Topolino's Terrace.
Space 220 Restaurant is one of the newest dining establishments at Walt Disney World Resort, and its out-of-this-world theming makes it a very popular choice as well. If you're looking for fine dining with a spectacular view,
California Grill is another favorite option among Guests.
Laura, I hope this information is helpful as you start to plan your Walt Disney World Resort dining reservations. If you'd like more advice on selecting restaurants or any other aspect of your vacation, please don't hesitate to ask.
Have a magical day!
Samantha
