Arriving in 27 days at Pop Century, 2nd year staying there. We did a preferred room last year 60's, but this year staying in a standard room, any suggestions for a building with quiet atmosphere and good views. Is there buildings newer than others. Thanks

    Hi, Carrie!

Wow, just a few short weeks until your vacation!  You must be getting so excited.

My favorite section of Pop Century is over in the 50's buildings.  These are Standard Rooms, but your walk to the bus stop is still only about 5 minutes.  I really like that in the 50's, you are close to the Bowling Pin pool, the parking lot (great if you have a car), and just a short walk to the Hippy Dippy Pool and Classic Hall.

During my last stay at Pop Century, I was in Building #2 of the 50's section.  Just outside my door was the fun Bowling Pin pool, and I also had a view of Hourglass Lake.  Really, how can you beat all of that at a Value Resort?   While we never had any problems with noise from the pool, you can request a room facing the lake vs. a pool view.  Whatever you prefer!  Remember that all requests are noted but cannot be guaranteed.

The rooms are all about the same in age, but I can tell you that our room was well maintained with very comfortable beds.  This is definitely a favorite resort for my family!

I hope you enjoy your stay!  If you get some extra time, take the bridge across the lake to check-out the new Art of Animation Resort.

Meet the Panelist: Cathy, Ohio

Hi, I'm Cathy from Cleveland. I love to travel, especially in the winter to escape the snow and cold of Ohio! My husband and 2 kids share my enthusiasm for travel, so we enjoy our adventures together whether it is hiking at a National Park, sailing on a Disney Cruise Ship, or going to Walt Disney World which is our home away from home. My husband proposed to me in front of Cinderella Castle and we have not stopped visiting ever since! It's a blast helping guests here at planDisney!
