Hi Moms! Arriving in 24 days for our 1st Disney vacation! I keep hearing about the Dole Whips...are there any other special treats/snacks/food that is unique to Disney that we shoudn't miss while there?

    Hey Corie,

I could talk about Walt Disney World snacks for hours.  Since I only have limited space here, I'll give you my top five snacks at Walt Disney World.

    1. The Carrot Cake Cookie: Disney's Hollywood Studios at the Writer's Stop or Sweet Spells.  It's a giant cookie made of carrot cake with the yummiest icing ever in the middle.  It's big enough to share, but I won't.

    2. Citrus Swirl: Sunshine Tree Terrace in Adventureland at Magic Kingdom Park.  I actually prefer this over a Dole Whip any day of the week.  It's fresh orange flavor is so satisfying on a hot day. I think I had three in one day on our last visit.

    3. Caramel Corn: Karamell Küche, Germany Pavilion in Epcot.  Really, any caramel treat from this amazing bakery will be delicious (the chocolate-caramel covered strawberries are amazing), I really love the salty/sweet combination of flavors in the caramel corn.

    4. Egg Rolls: Disney's Animal Kingdom Theme Park.  This is my favorite savory snack at Walt Disney World. There's a little cart called Mr. Kamal’s between Africa and Asia which sells the egg rolls.  I always make a stop there on our way to Expedition: Everest.

    5. Mickey Premium Ice Cream Bar: available all over Walt Disney World Resort.  The iconic Disney treat.  My kids can not be in Walt Disney World and not have a Mickey bar.   It's just the classic choice when you're at Disney.

If your trip will overlap with Epcot's International Food and Wine Festival, there's a whole other list of must-have snacks I could give you!

There you have it, Corie!  I hope I've given you some choices and got your stomach growling.
