Arriving 9/21/13 for 9 days, at BC. DD will be turning 10 during our trip, and we would like to plan something special for her. Any suggestions will be greatly appreciated. Thanks.

    Hello, Sherisse,

Celebrating birthdays at Walt Disney World is so magical!  I'm excited to share with you oodles of suggestions on doing something special while at Walt Disney World since many of the panelists here offered suggestions to another parent who was celebrating her daughter's 13th birthday; just click here to read the ideas.  You'll have plenty to sort through; please let us know then if you have further questions about any of them.

And by the way, there is the likelihood that your trip will overlap the opening of the Epcot International Food and Wine Festival. If your daughter loves sampling new foods, she may have a lot of fun at this event.  You may also want to add Mickey's Not So Scary Halloween Party to your list of ideas; your daughter may enjoy an early "birthday party" by dressing up in costume and trick 'n treating at the Magic Kingdom.

And of course, you are welcome to order a birthday cake for her special day by calling 407-827-2253 at least 48 hours in advance.

Have a great trip!  Please let us know if we can help again.
