We are arriving the day before our son turns 3 and will be celebrating while in Disney world. We were told he didn't need park passes or meal plan because he is 2 at time of travel but I'm worried they will question when he says he's 3, because he will be.

    HI Carey!

You've been told correctly!  Your son will be age 2 throughout your vacation.  His age upon check-in is what they go by, so you'll be good!

We spent our daughter's third birthday at Walt Disney World in 2013, and she turned 3 a few days after check-in, and we had no issues whatsoever.  Make sure you stop by Guest Services and pick up a Birthday Button for your little guy once you arrive.  My daughter thought her special button was the best!

    Have a magical birthday celebration!
