HI Tammy!
10 sleeps left until you see Mickey! So exciting! Our family was lucky enough to enjoy
Sanaa last year for lunch and it was a fantastic experience. Disney's Animal Kingdom Lodge is such an amazing property. It is so peaceful and we loved spending some time exploring all of the treasures it has to offer. The food at Sanaa was fantastic! Our family particularly enjoyed the Indian-Style Bread Service appetizer that we shared. We tried all of the dips they had to offer and we loved sharing each of our favorites! For your entree, I highly recommend the Butter Chicken. It is one of my favorite Indian dishes and the version from Sanaa definitely does not disappoint! If you have the time and it is still light outside for your meal, you can ask to wait for a window table. This will allow you and your family to enjoy a close-up view of the animals during your meal. You can also walk out on the Savannah while you wait for your table. It really is an unforgettable experience!
You have a few options for transportation. You can use complimentary resort transportation by taking a bus from Disney's Pop Century Resort to a theme park or Downtown Disney and then transferring to a bus for Disney's Animal Kingdom Lodge. Depending on the time of day, the bus current schedule and the crowd level, this can be a long trip. If you select this option, I recommend that you allow yourself at least two hours of travel time to get to your reservation on time. Taking a taxi will definitely be a much quicker option. Just let bell services know that you will be needing a taxi and they can arrange one for you. Sanaa is located in Disney's Animal Kingdom Villas - Kidani Village, so you will want to be sure to exit either form of transportation in that section of the resort.
Have a great time on your trip! T-T-F-N, ta ta for now!
