    We are arriving at the CSR 04/22. Do you know what buildings/rooms have been upgraded and which have not? I would like to put a request to Disney for an upgraded room, but would also like to request close to the main building. What is my best option?

    Congratulations on your upcoming visit to Walt Disney World!

    The extensive renovation of Disney's Coronado Springs' Resort Rooms began in 2009 and was fully completed in 2010. Resort rooms are now all equipped with 2 queen beds (1 king is available upon request), a flat screen tv and other modernized furnishings. 

    Since renovation status won't affect your room location choice, you'll simply want to 'request' the section of the resort that most appeals to you. If being close to the main building is of utmost importance to you, I'd recommend that you upgrade to a Preferred Location Room category prior to arrival - if you haven't already done so. If you're in a Standard Room category, your 'request' for location cannot be guaranteed to be accommodated, although Cast Members will do their best based on availability at the time of room assignment and check-in.

    To place your request on your Resort Room file, call and speak to a Cast Member at (407) 939-7675. Your best options to be close to the main buildings and central bus stop would be Cabanas Bldg 9B or 9A. Also close by would be Cabanas 8B or Casitas Bldg 1, 2 or 3.
