Hi Jenny,
Thank you for visiting us at the
Disney Parks Moms Panel. How exciting to know you'll be enjoying the fall season at Walt Disney World Resort in just a few weeks.
Disney's Coronado Springs Resort is our family's favorite among the moderate Resorts, and the one we've visited the most. Our last visit was this past December when we celebrated the Holidays, and we cannot wait until next year when we are planning on staying at the new
Grand Destino Tower.
But where to stay? Good question! For us, we prefer to spend most of our time at the Theme Parks, so it is crucial for our room to be close to a bus stop. Although my son insists our first request to be an Executive Suite, on our last vacation our second (or first real) choice was Casitas 4 near the bus stop. It was a great location since are the first stop to board the buses and first to be dropped off on your way back, when traveling to the Theme Parks. We've also stayed in Cabanas 8A, and this location is great because it's very close to the Dig Site, ideal for dip in
The Lost City of Cibola Pool. I also stayed at Ranchos 7A as a
ConventionEAR and was very relaxing.
All rooms have been reimagined recently, with most bathrooms now offering showers. But a few tubs are still available in all sections. You need to make sure to contact a vacation planning specialist at (407) 939-1936 or your travel agent, so they can add your request. Remember that every effort will be made to help you, but there's no guarantee.
One last tip: be sure to update your
My Disney Experience mobile app, since it now includes real-time
bus information from your Resort Hotel to the Theme Parks. Happy planning!
Ricardo.
