Since we are arriving at Coronado Springs Saturday afternoon, and we have reserved the Magic Kingdom for Sunday, can we go to the Magic Kingdom Saturday night and/or have early access Sunday morning? If yes, what, if anything, do we need to arrange? Ty!

    Hello, Debbie,

Thank you for sending your question to planDisney.  How wonderful that you are staying at Disney's Coronado Springs Resort.  I think it is such a lovely resort, especially the Grand Destino Tower lobby. The restaurant Toledo - Tapas, Steak & Seafood is equally stunning with its vibrant ceiling that changes colors as you dine as well as its sweeping views. I think of it as a hidden gem at Walt Disney World.

When you arrive at Walt Disney World on a Saturday, you'd need a valid theme park ticket and a theme park reservation to visit the Magic Kingdom that night. As a Disney resort guest, you will have Early Theme Park Entry to the Magic Kingdom when you go there on Sunday. It allows you entry into the theme park 30 minutes before the park opens to the general public. During that period, there are 16 attractions open at the Magic Kingdom!

The Early Theme Park Entry is available at all 4 theme parks every morning for Disney resort guests.  You don't need to arrange anything special to attend this fun opportunity aside from arriving at the theme parks early, but you still need a valid theme park ticket and a theme park reservation.  Disney transportation will be available early for guests to arrive at their theme park destination.

Wishing you a magical trip! Please let us know if you have any further questions.
