I am arriving at the Contemp. hotel in 5 days and was attempting to do the online check in. It required me to add a credit card to the room on order to proceede. I do not want charging to my room.. Do i have to add a card to the room?

    Hey Stephanie,

The Online Check-in Service now requires guests to enter credit card information in order to proceed with the check-in process.  In the past, guests were able to bypass the credit card information screen.  You can enter credit card information now and then have the Cast Member at check-in remove the linked card from your account.  It should only take a few moments and you'll be good to go!

We do not link a credit card to our room, so now we simply bypass using the Online Check-in service and proceed to the standard check-in desk.  It can take a few minutes longer to go through the standard check-in line, but we haven't found it to be any significant amount of time.  I just find it easier this way.

Please let us know if you have any other questions, Stephanie!  Enjoy your magical vacation.  The next five days are going to fly by and you'll be checking in at Disney's Contemporary Resort in no time.
