We will be arriving 12/28. Will the Christmas decorations still be up at all parks/resorts? Any tips on where to spend NYE?? Thanks!!

    Hi Jennifer,

Welcome back to the Moms Panel.  Since it's such a wonderful holiday, Disney likes to keep Christmas around for a while.  Typically the decorations stay up until Marathon weekend in January.  You'll still be able to enjoy all the festive finery during your trip.

In addition to Christmas Day, Walt Disney World is also very popular for New Year's Eve celebrations. What better place to ring in the new year than at the most magical place on earth.  Disney has several celebrations planned for this evening.  If dinner and cocktails is not what you had in mind, simply head over to Magic Kingdom or Epcot to toast the midnight hour with a fantastic fireworks display.  Keep in mind that you should arrive early to the theme park of your choice as they do reach capacity as the evening goes on.

Wishing you a magical vacation and a very Happy New Year!
