Hi Jennifer!
Welcome back to planDisney! Your jolly holiday at Walt Disney World Resort is just about to begin, and I ho-ho-hope you are super excited about your upcoming vacation!
Jennifer, I regularly take advantage of grocery delivery during my Disney vacations. As a family of five, we like to have some snacks available in the room and also order a case or two of water that we can use at the resort and take to the theme parks with us. I usually arrange my grocery order delivery for our check-in day, but I understand that may be difficult with a Christmas Day arrival. The Cast Member I spoke with by phone confirmed that
Bell Services will be able to receive your grocery delivery the day before checking in. She advised that you'll want to make sure to note your name and check-in date in the delivery information, along with the resort name and address. If you don't already have it handy, the resort address can be found in your
My Disney Experience Mobile App under "Hotel Reservations." Before you finalize your order, I'd suggest reviewing the
policies about deliveries to Disney Resort Hotels, as certain items, such as those that are age-restricted or require ID upon delivery, cannot be received without you being present.
The Cast Member also recommended completing
Online Check-In before your arrival so that all of your check-in information is on file with the resort. This is one of my favorite time-saving tips on arrival day, as you can use
Disney's Direct-to-Room Service and bypass the front desk! When your room is ready, you'll receive a text message and/or a push notification from the app with your room number and a link to a resort map to help you locate your room. You can then use your
mobile device as a digital key to unlock your door.
I hope this information has been helpful, Jennifer, and that you enjoy a magical holiday visit to Walt Disney World Resort! If you have any other questions, please stop by to see us again here at planDisney!
Happy Holidays!
Kristi
